Remember the Past... Save the Future

Here is an old photo, taken many years ago in Berlin, at the Old Jewish Cemetery. This set of statues is one of the many memorials to the dark era that was life in Germany before and during the WWII... it depicts a family of Jewish citizens and the horror and sadness that they lived under is well imprinted on their expressions. 😥

In these days and times, when the world has become unbelievably polarised, it's important to remember the errors from the past and avoid committing them over and over again.

As we speak, in some countries in the world... the same kind of horror that was inflicted upon the Jewish keeps happening to other people... and our politicians in the West, from the USA to Europe, from Russia to Australia... keep pretending that nothing bad is happening simply because... money speaks louder. If it were not for the incredible wealth of certain countries, their game of cruelty, massacring innocents and torturing children would have ended long ago. But since those countries are rich, well... the world's politicians turn a blind eye and whistle away. 🙄

Everyone knows what's going on in certain countries in the Middle East, Africa and Asia... but no one dares to speak about it. Some even come up with feeble excuses to justify the behaviour of the aggressors, occupiers and genocidal criminals... Why? Mostly fear. Some countries have so much influence over the western corporations that anyone who dares to speak the truth... risks losing his/her job. 🤐

Our society need a big change, sooner rather than later.

Will humanity ever speak louder than money...?
