Good Saturday, everyone!
Well, one day it had to end, I guess. After 34 seasons on the top League of Rabona, my Team - Peg Leg Crew - was finally relegated after a long series of bad luck and lousy defeats.
Yep... our boat has sunk. 馃槅
It was a long streak, with 1 first place and 7 second places. Yeah, 7!!! Damn!!! I was so close to victory so many times... but luck wasn't on my side. One of those times I even finished tied for points with the first, but with a lower Goal Difference... only a couple of goals separated us.
Just for curiosity, here is how I ranked during this series at LOC:
The game is fun, even if lately it has lost a bit of interest after one Hive user got 8 of his teams in the League. He can easily rig the matches between his teams so he basically can get 42 free points to his main team.
Considering that the champion usually ends the season with 55 points or so... you can see how he can pretty much control the League completely, leaving little chance for other players. 馃槓
Now I need to get my team back on track. Some old guys need to retire and fresh blood must come in, if I want to get back on top.
Also, I think I'll need to change tactics. I was mostly playing with 4-4-2 but I feel like there's a bug in the system, since I lost a lot of games where supposedly I had the tactics plus the home advantage... plus the best players. 馃槙
Sometimes I feel like the game is a little too random... Does any of you feel the same?
