Good night, little Bees!
This photo is for the #treetuesday initiative by @old-guy-photos.
I took this shot at the Lands End Trail, near the Mile Rock Beach, in San Francisco. It is a lovely trail to walk around and enjoy the views over the bay area.
Some of the trees in this trail must have stood there for centuries, such as this crazy looking tree, which seems to defy the laws of physics and gravity itself. How it took this unexpected shape... is something I can even begin to dream about. Who knows what happened through the decades for it to grow up in such a weird way? 馃
For some bizarre reason, it appears that the tree has decided to go sideways for a few years before finally realising that was the wrong way and corrected itself midway, finally starting to grow up, searching for the sun... 馃檭
Even though it looks dangerous and about to fall over your head, you don't need to be scared. This huge tree is really sturdy and it would probably take a giant earthquake for it to fall down.
Mother Nature can be really surprising... can't it? 馃
