Good morning, Street Art Lovers!
Here is my entry for the CCC's Street Art Contest #16, hosted by 
Boy, the artist behind this piece must really love fish... and big eyes! 馃榿
I found this pretty and colourful mural on the Theresianumgasse (Theresianum Alley), in the city of Vienna, Austria. This collection of fish was located right across the street from an apostolic nunciature. (Follow the link if you don't have a clue of what that is. I didn't know myself.) 馃き
Anyway, I stopped immediately and took a small detour from my path to the hotel as soon as I realised there were some murals in this narrow street. I couldn't pass the opportunity to take a look.
The mural wasn't very new and some parts of the paint had already been washed away... but it was still in good enough condition to be appreciated. Here is another shot from a slightly different angle.
I love the colours on this piece, all those blues, reds, pinks and greens go really well with each other. Some rays of the sun was hitting the wall, coming through some tree branches... and that made the colours pop up nicely. 馃槉
You may ask how is it that I manage to remind where I took these photos with such precision...
Am I a robot? Do I have an incredible memory? Of course not. The answer is much simpler: I took another photo to remember it. 馃槄
Right next to it was a piece with a similar style... so I'm assuming it was made by the same author.
There were some fish as well but also some crazy figures which reminded me of Aztec statues and symbols... an interesting piece, as well. Large chunks of the wall were already missing, which is a pity. Nevertheless, I liked it a lot, too. 馃槑
