Kharkovites Khors have long been known, including outside of Ukraine. This is that rare and pleasant case on the local scene, when the band's work can be praised without making discounts "as for one's own" at all. The band's music is not anyone's clone, but the gray mainstream.
The material of the group is pleasantly colored with strokes of Scandinavian malice and European contemplative aesthetics. Mostly mid-tempo compositions, with a muffled sound of guitars with "large-wave melody" laid down, in fact, in the riffs, sometimes indulge in solo guitar melodies and keyboard parts that adorn the songs.
The drums are very well written, raised and also slightly cut, sounding one with the guitars. The legible classic faded scream is output with sufficient volume, so that the texts can be distinguished even without a booklet.
The technical side of the matter, though not perfect, is made firmly and atmospherically. It is not without difficulty that one can find some specific analogies among Western and our groups, but I, perhaps, will refrain from doing so.
