Last night, down here in Nipomo at the Santa Maria Raceway, it's only $17.00 to enter to watch the races. After looking at the schedule it looks like they run from the beginning of April all the way through October. A pretty wild bunch last night but a lot of fun nonetheless. It's nice to check out the races from time to time, but what's even more exciting is they run a few monster truck events every now and then. Pretty cool.
Not sure if they do a demolition derby or not but it seems like the right kind of track for it. Perfect weather, almost 70 degrees right as the races began. Made a friendly wager with my friend and won, so all in all it was a pretty good Sunday on the road. Probably going to head into Santa Maria tomorrow.
