Original photo, no filter. Caught the early cycle of this flower here going through it's blooming stage. What I like about this shot is the dark green and the off white colors coming together. As you can see the photo has an overall dark tone to it because the flower was hiding tucked down close to the ground. So when I got in there to take the shot the sun was completely blocked by the canopy of the trees that protected the flowers you're seeing.
Another thing that's pretty neat about this one is the green leaves almost look glossy in a sense. These are the types of leaves that are actually pretty hard to pull from the branch. Come a few months from now there will be flowers like this all over the city, that's what the sun shine and spring time brings.
