Original photo, no filter. I like when I'm able to capture flowers that are bright in color with contrasting backgrounds. I've written about it before.
As you can see the dark black drop is the landscape in a sense, now if I was to take a photo of a dark colored flower it wouldn't make for a good shot. But when a big bright yellow flower like the one you see here jumps out at you what choice do you have but to take the shot.
These yellow flowers always put off that summer time energy but in a few months I'll be wondering where they all went.
