Switch Commands

1. log - displays events from the switch
2. show mac A6 - This will display mac-address of the device on port A6.
3. show vlan - Shows information about vlans on the switch database
4. Vlan 20 - sets the switch to vlan 20
5. Untag - this is used to set the data port on the switch
6. tag - sets the port for a tagged vlan, generally used for telephones.
7. show flash - displays flash version
8. show run - shows running config of the switch
9. enable - switch to manager level
