I've been reading 'The Steve Jobs Way'. A Short Reflection on Products and Jobs…
When Steve left Apple he dem true leadership. When he showed up for the next board meeting, he made a good deal for everyone. He wouldn't buy back the company, and wn try to compete, but he wanted to create a nich computer, and he wanted Apple to invest.
Every business goes through chrisis and turning points. Although this is overwelming, it is also usually an opportunity.
Steve was passionate about products that could fill a need, make a difference. When Apple transitioned from being product focused to making money, it was difficult for everyone. This new focus kind of worked out but eventually after about four years, the soaring profits ended.
no time to finish this, but thanks…
Personal Note: I do not consider myself like those CEOs who lead well and accomplish much, but I have growing passion which may eventually 'get me in trouble' / succeed. It took many tries reading about Steve Jobs before I realized I am incredibly like him, personality-wise. True, I'm not as accomplishing and not has forcefully passionate, but I like finding special solutions, and of compromising with adversaries.
Consider I believe that if Steve could change one thing it would be not to be so forceful and almost mean sometimes. To not strong arm people and things, but that resulted from his passion, especially his passion for the product, and to change the world too I gues, asdfsd back from his sojourn time in India, seeking purpose.
To be honest I believe Steve wasn't just lucky but happened to be one of those incredible personalities who of themselves add something special. Previously I just considered him extra creative and lucky.
