It's April first, and a new month! I do hope this one will be better than the last. It wouldn't surprise me if plenty of people thought "Well, Treefrog, she dropped out. I guess she didn't really care." That can't be helped. I got a cold that turned into pneumonia, and simply had no energy to sit at the computer and write cheerful comments on people's posts, much less write anything original for my own blog. It wasn't all bad though: nobody could tell me to get up and do stuff when I started coughing as soon as I moved, so I got weeks and weeks of reading and drinking tea in bed! It's not over yet, but I do feel a lot better now, and can even walk more than five steps without getting winded. That's a good thing too, because there's a sale on rice this week, and it's a 30-minute bus ride to the store. Two 5kg sacks for the price of one. Quality rice, jasmine from Thailand and basmati from Pakistan - no Uncle Ben's junk in a microwave pouch!
Another good thing is that I had set aside some Hive just in case I wouldn't be able to earn enough for the HPUD. So I'll get the badge this month too. And maybe, just maybe, I'll manage to write something interesting enough for a few upvotes this month? I certainly hope so, because I want to keep collecting badges!
Life is full of good things, it's just a question of how one looks at them. For example, I'll have a lot of catching up to do reading through all the posts people have made since March 11th. That is good, because now I'll not have time to get bored!
First thing I realised when I worked customer support is that it's Number One Important to answer the customer's questions, even if I think they are irrelevant. After doing that, I can add any extra info I think the customer should have. Maybe I should apply for a job with this company? Or maybe not... I googled them and wasn't impressed.
