Antoni Gaudí i Cornet was born in 1852. In 1900 the Güell family commissioned him to design a housing site on Barcelona hilltop. Renowned for its mosaics and forms the park exhibits the extent of the architect's flamboyant style featuring Gaudí’s typical focus on fluid, naturalist forms and incredible structures.
