Fact!
An animal track is an imprint left behind in snow, soil or mud by an animal walking across it. Tracks can be fossilized over millions of years, for this reason we can see fossilized dinosaur tracks in some types of rock formations. This types of fossils are called trace fossils as they are a trace of an animal behind and not the animal itself. However, the snow tracks do not last for long as the snow melts or it snows back again and it covers the tracks.
