My personal care tips are very simple, I always have very natural products or nearly as natural as possible for my skin, I don't have a lot of products because I'm on a budget but One thing I always have is my Blue Seal Vaseline, that's like a great product to have around for the skin, see when I have a reaction to something, that vaseline is my go to, so I keep it simple, my soap, body spray, Vaseline, body oil, face cream. This is the basic for me.
And honestly? The basic works.
I believe somewhere along the line, the beauty industry has convinced us that in order for our skin to look good, we have to adopt a seven step routine, use twelve different products with names that we can't even spell and, oh, and by the way, the routine must be expensive and take a lot of time to apply, I don't believe that, I have never believed that, I do not need a PhD to take better care of my skin, I simply need consistency and the right simple things, and that's exactly what I do.
Blue Seal Vaseline is my my number one and I can never trade that for anything, It is an ordinary thing to most people and most people overlook it's importance, but it's been a lifesaver for my skin multiple times over, whenever I have a reaction, whenever my skin feels dry, irritated, or just off, Vaseline is the first thing I reach for, It calms everything down, seals in moisture, and doesn't fight with my skin the way some fancier products would have, Simple, affordable, effective, it is my kind of product.
The same with my soap, nothing too perfumed or with too many chemicals doing too many things, I want something that can clean my skin, I want something that can do its job, I don't want it doing nothing after the bath and sitting on top of my dry skin.
Face cream, I am a little more particular about, is that because people see faces first, so I pay attention to what is put on it, even then though I keep it simple and as natural as I can afford it, i am not going crazy for a face cream, there are options out there that work beautifully and won't break the bank and that's what I use.
The last step, and quite the fun step, is body spray, and body mist , It doesn't take long, it isn't complicated, It doesn't cost me a fortune and my skin is happy with it, and that is the only thing that matters.
This my secret is not much, it is just the right things with good consistently.
