This is a shot I got from the top of Mount Vesuvius which is an active volcano located on the Gulf of Naples in Campania, Italy. It's probably best known for its eruption in AD 79 that buried the Roman cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum. This volcano is regarded as one of the most dangerous in the world due to the population of 3,000,000 people living nearby and its violent, explosive eruptions.
