Good morning guys!

So we wanted to share our experience and travel knowledge. There is a pretty large possibility that a local crook will try to scam a foreigner especially in Southeast Asia. Thus, we wanted . to share our own experience and insights on how to get to Sihanoukville (or Koh Rong) from Phnom Penh.

But here are few "good to know" tips:

The bus ticket cost $6.50 (if you book via your hotel/hostel - do not pay more than $7.50 if you are staying in the city center and make sure you get a pickup service included in the same price!
Expect 7hrs bus ride instead of 5hrs
It will be a bumpy ride but will include 2 short 20min breaks
Do not get out in the gas station (filled with crook tuk-tuk drivers)
Once you arrive in the bus station walk outside of the bus stations to get a tuk-tuk or taxi if needed - will safe yourself a lot of money - drivers in the bus stations will try to ask you even 10x as much!
Enjoy your stay - the Sihanoukville is truly beautiful and remote place
