Sadly we had to leave the far North of Queensland for now as our caravan needed some repair work done to it, so we've headed all the way down south Queensland, to drop the caravan in Brisbane City! It's certainly a lot cooler this time of year down in the southern part of Queensland! It doesn't seem to stop the kids from swimming and enjoying the outdoor life which is fantastic and just the way they should be. Moore Park Beach is about 4.5 hours north of Brisbane, it has been base camp for us for a few weeks, but still plenty of travelling and exploring being done.
The kids love the little lake at Moore Park Beach, the amount of bird life is just amazing!
Beach, sunsets, swims, it feels a lot like home! Only the sand is not white, the dunes aren't red and the water is cold blue and not warm turquoise, but equally beautiful and definitely the same amount of fun to be had.
Running, jumping, swimming, skipping, digging, burying, searching for shells, all these amazing things we can do each day at the beach! Way better than TV! But I'm not going to lie, after a busy day in the sun it's definitely nice to sit down and watch a movie every so often.
The best way to let kids grow and learn is to let them explore and be kids! Who else remembers burying their siblings in beach sand?
