BitcoinDark (BTCD) is a decentralized cryptocurrency, forked from NovaCoin in 2014, providing groundbreaking privacy and anonymity. Unlike many other cryptocurrencies, BitcoinDark encourages ASIC mining (i.e. generating coins with specialist hardware), which is a much more energy efficient way of generating coins than CPU/GPU mining.
