As most of you already know, your SP on Steemit is like your wealth, something you look after very well. Just over a month ago, I decided to delegate some SP over to Splinterlands and in return get some DEC back on a daily basis. Nearly 5 weeks in and here are my results.
I had a chat with the guys on our Chinese Telegram group and they all confirmed my calculation (I am bad with numbers). I am getting an average of 30% ROI for delegating 2000sp. The last week I have received less DEC due to the low Steem prices therefore there is a dip in that ROI but on average it will be 30%. This is also considering the currently prices it is sold at on Steem-Engine markets. The risk is that DEC will decrease in price which will in turn decrease the annual return.
I did say after a month I will review on this investment. After having a look at the numbers and the risk, I will continue delegating to Steem Monsters for DEC. I am in fact glad I started it as it does add up after a month of accumulating your daily earnings. If you look at it daily, it is not that much after 4 weeks, it is a nice decent number. Remember, these DECs are valuable in a way that it can purchase ORBs, skins, potions and most likely guilds. I hope the price of Steem goes back up so in turn we will most likely to receive more DEC again.
