I have been defeated and ended up going to emergency overnight as I woke up with sharp pain around eye area. I woke up around 4am taking a panadol but didn’t work and by 4.40am I took a nurofen again no substantial help. That was when hubby said I need to go to emergency as he can see I was in so much pain it is not worth waiting to go to a GP plus we are not sure if we can get to see one with a no appointment. We are lucky to live close to a very good hospital so he dropped me there.
昨晚凌晨4:00 開始頭非常痛最後入了急症室. 4:00am 食了第一種止痛藥但沒有反應到 4:40am 食另外一種都沒有幫助所以老公建議去急症室看看有什麼事因為頭跟眼部都非常痛. 原本如果痛的程度減少會排隊看普通醫生但沒有好轉都要深夜揸車去急症室.
Luckily nobody was waiting in the emergency room so I was attend by the triage and then was taken in the space of 30 minutes. By that time, my head was already pounding, I thought I was going to faint or something. Unfortunately when I go in, there was a handover period so the morning nurses and doctors haven’t arrived yet so I had to sit there for another 45 minutes before the nurse. Finally the nurse gave me some med that reduce the urge to vomit and drip as they can see I was hurting quite a bit. That helped a lot! I was able to rest for another 30 minutes before seeing a doctor.
幸運地因為疫情的關係急症室一個病人都沒有所以很快有護士先看看我的病情之後帶進到急症室內等醫生. 這個過程用30分鐘已經完成比平時快了起碼三四倍時間. 但因為交更的問題沒有護士和醫生可以立刻跟進我的病情所以要等45分鐘後先有護士給我一些鹽水和另外一種止痛藥慢慢等醫生.因為太早的關係我們要吃什麼東西所以要給我一些水份補充體力.
They checked my eye specifically and made sure everything is fine and no swelling inside. luckily nothing and treating it as a made migraine for the time being. I will probably need some tests to make sure I am ok the next week
等了一會醫生終於來看我什麼情況.最後沒有什麼發現大致上正常. 他們只是當劇烈頭痛和頸痛來醫但下星期要到專科再看看為什麼頭和眼忽然痛得那麼厲害.
