Hey! How about a "trail" curation system so that the really serious content can be upvoted a bit more to reward the actual time/effort involved in creating it? I think that would help the whole ecosystem. Personally, I spend several HOURS producing the weekly posts in my series. Just a suggestion... Regardless, enjoy...
