Yeah, that must have felt great when the card started rumbling when you clicked it, and you were likely thinking that you were gonna get a "Lord Aranthus" (non-gold (~ $8.50 on the market) which I got last night - been a few weeks since I got a major legendary -- then you see that it's a $190 USD card. If I could get FIVE of those kinds of "goodies" it would put me back "in the black" after the @kryptogames debacle. So these major "scores" (especially a dragon legendary like yours) gives me hope that it IS ACTUALLY possible, with persistence. Also, on a positive note, I stumbled upon the new, COMPLETELY "free-to-play" Brosino (Steem-based casino) https://brosgn.net?ref=690 (referral link, but you an join from their main site), through a comment on a recent post that @kryptogames ReSTeemed. It seems that Brosino is the PROPER, ZERO-RISK answer to the casino dApps which require you to put up actual Steem. In terms of them actually pulling off the dApp (and fixing some of the major issues, such as not have to clear each transaction - thereby throwing off the entire pace of the (specifically) blackjack game) Brosino has done a great job. The main issue, however, is that (at least for NOW) you are limited to betting 500 (free) credits per blackjack hand, (but 1,000 with double-down, and/or 1,500, 2,000 (with 1x, 2x splits), but in order to get paid out (in Steem) you need to hit 50,000 credits, and so (as you mentioned in the past) the issue is how much time do you want to spend to get paid out, essentially, five (5) Steem? It seems that if you can refer a bunch of people you could hit the 50,000 credit (payout) milestone faster (perhaps even daily), and it seems like they may be planning to raise the limits in the future - perhaps as their operating capital (or membership base) increases, or perhaps as a bonus for the total number of hands played per day/week/month. In terms of providing a PROPER "free to play" online casino experience, it seems that they have nailed it. Now the issue is if they can figure out a way to develop the dApp so that players can earn/win the more "real" amount that you would in a "real money online casino". From a marketing perspective, I believe this is a great sign of hope, and it should be interesting to see how Brosino develops. After all, 5 Steem could end up being worth enough to buy/upgrade some more @steemmonsters cards (and of increased cost of those cards) if/as the price of Steem goes back up. The question right now is: How much time do you believe it is worth spending to play blackjack, dice, etc. to earn a mere 5 Steem? That''s the (potentially) "$5 million question". Guess we'll just have to let the "crypto gods" sort it out...
