Why do people die? (Part 3) MCGI Topic Review
Death sometimes means salvation, according to the Bible. Death is not something which is evil, actually people fear death because they think it is something evil. If you know God’s word and know His truth, death does not mean evil to those who serve Him. Isaiah 57:1–
"The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come"
Even the most righteous of men who ever lived on earth have died, Job died, Abraham died, John the Baptist died, Jesus Christ—the most perfect life ever lived on earth, also died. So death is not evil, it is a way of God to take you from the evil to come; something evil that is coming that you will not be able to bear.
If you continue listening to the indoctrination sessions, you will realize that death teaches us something good.
It teaches us first of all that we are under God’s mercy. It is God that allows us to live, our death proves the existence of God.
Some persons are thinking "Why do people die, if there’s God?" The reason why we die is because there is God. God is showing us how powerful He is, how lowly we are and how we must subject ourselves under His power.
Deuteronomy 32:39–
"See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand"
Nobody can deliver anyone from His hand, in whatever situation you may be, you will see the fulfilment of the word of God to prove to us that there really is God.
He does exist and we have to believe Him. Your death, our death is something inevitable but it teaches us so many good things. It teaches us to be prepared because we do not know when we will die, it teaches us to be holy, it teaches us to practice self-control and it teaches us to love one another as long as we live.
