lol firstly, dude have you EVER pissed off someone on here with less stake than, say 500k sp? I mean ok, the last two whales who attacked you weren't exactly acting in good faith and you were doing your part fighting abuse, but jeez, it doesn't make it cheap for me to bail you out :p

I agree with the general spirit of what you're saying. The fact is everyone is actually far more incentivized to fight abuse and install honest voting and the dominant form of behavior here than before HF21 because right now, the gap between honest and dishonest voting has shrunk immensely, and coupled with the free downvotes floating around, fighting abuse is no longer guaranteed to be futile and expensive.

There are many stakeholders like kevin wong and myself who didn't want to be taking part in vote selling/self voting/circle jerking pre HF21, but felt trapped because the economic incentives punished good behavior the hardest. But now we're out of the dark ages which is why you're seeing more and more people defect to the good side. Self voters like kevin and myself switched to curating and downvoting abuse the very instant the HF was passed. Many more did the same and many have since joined. You are now seeing bid bots under a lot of pressure and some have expressed interest in pivoting their entire business to full curation very soon.

Things are looking to be going on track for HF21 and newsteem. I appreciate your efforts in fighting abuse which is why I'm here to vote you up and express my gratitude. Together we can all do our part to ensuring that steem can succeed as the POB social media system it was designed to be.
