It's really amazing how we grow from careless child to responsible teenagers. What happens on this journey that has made us responsible now? This is the seed that we sow at the beginning that grows and becomes a huge tree.
When I sit here silently thinking about my growth, enduring the changes, I am amazed at some questions, which have no answers, but it is an unanswered situation that life turned into a roller coaster ride. I used to read a lot of storybooks as a kid. In a particular book, I read the story of a bird. Since then, it has become an integral part of my life. That story describes a male bird that has to work hard to build a nest, and the female bird takes shelter there and feeds the baby. When the baby bird learns to fly, the whole family leaves that beautiful nest for other birds and flies to another place so that other families can grow up there. It surprised me. How can they leave the house so quickly built with so much hard work?
When I would go for a walk holding my father's hand, I would look around. It always made me curious to know what the book taught me. I used to ask my father many questions, but he never got tired of answering them. One night, while I was deep asleep, I had this remarkable dream. I walked mile after mile on the endless road, wholly isolated but with beautiful trees on both sides. Fascinated by the greenery, I proceeded towards it to get deeper and deeper into the greenery. I stopped to see something. It was a vast, fantastic bungalow.
I fell in love with that massive part of the art. Yes, it was a piece of art that was artistically and lovingly touched on every corner. I don't know why I thought it was done with love. Maybe because things become beautiful only when we put our passion into it- just like the delicious food prepared by the mom, which is more delicious with her love. I explored the house to fall in love with it.
A sloping roof matched the surrounding green; The large central open courtyard reminded me of the activities there, which now seemed wholly isolated but lively. When I woke up from the dream, I was clear about everything in my dreams. I realized where that mile of walking wanted to lead me. I learned what message my goal tried to give me. And a few years later, when it was finally my turn to choose my destination.
I just closed my eyes, held that book in my hand, pressed it to my chest, and restored the dream. When I opened my eyes, I was sure what to do. I decided to take the road - which is less travel. Yes, I have taken up architecture as my profession because that is my destiny. I wanted to do what the male bird in the story did: build a beautiful house and let someone else live. It has been my dream come true, and the happiness I get from this job now is indescribable.
