I was still stuck when we ran through the rain, laughing, and I stumbled awkwardly on the sidewalk. In the rain that day, I saw you laughing and running; a new feeling awoke in me at that moment. I would go home and question the feelings because I just felt you around me. I felt like I am a safe, calm, and fulfilling person.
When you leave me, my heart will tremble with tenderness, so that's why rain smells like a flower around you? At school, I would be one of those sitting in the bank branch; I got to see your golden brown hair through the classroom window. I would be amazed at your smile, and your teeth would glow, and your eyes would shine in the sunlight. I noticed that everyone seemed to be together, yet everyone was surrounding you, suffocating. You need to breathe, and I'm trying to find a way to help you, to take you away from everyone to save you. I will ask myself a question soon; the bond between us broke at sunset that day.
When I got home, I reminded myself of our day, trying to remember how your hair was flying in the rain and how it was glowing in the sunlight, every step you took was beautiful, and your smile was heart-melting. However, you were still stuck; do you feel the same way I did? If happiness ever exists, I thought I would spend every second with you; whenever it rains, I expect you by my side, let the sun create a spotlight around you I want. I'm waiting for the sun to hit your hair just like it did that evening.
I see it creating a ring around you and you. Is this a new mirage? I was instead in the dark; I was in your shadow. As the days go by, I try to catch you in the classroom, but we don't stay together; our distance keeps growing. As the days go by, I can't see you moving away from me; I can't reach you because the casting shadows are getting bigger. You will soon be gone when I am lost in the darkness of the day, where I cannot see you from afar. I'm alone, scared. Where did I get back that comfort and tenderness? The whole world seemed to be awake as I tried to get out of this black darkness. I felt so small in this vast world; I was filled with nothing but strange emotions that I could no longer empty.
