Ever since i first started playing Splinterlands I was infatuated with the Gladius cards; maybe because they are soul bound to your account and you can't jsut buy them on the open market, after all that which is achieved through work and trials is so much sweeter.
About a month ago i finally joined a good guild (lil dawgs) and found a group of like minded individuals that wanted to succeed in brawls but still were chill enough to make the process fun. As we progressed the strength of the guild together we were able to unlock Gladius Cards, so much to my excitement as soon as i get the points i buy a case and give it a go. I know, I know, I should wait for Bloodstones to open them but the alure of the new cards that can be game defining in brawls is honestly just to strong so I open them anyways. ;)
This is my third case and it was a very nice surprise upon opening it.
Hugo Strongsword, ALva the Crusader and Whistling Dawn, three commons but all have their uses, then the next two made me really happy, the Rare Gold Foil Sarius (mostly because it went gold to be honest) and the Epic Marisol Contuma.
Yes she is expensive mana wise but dang i can see her being huge in a life deck. I can't wait to give her a go in our next brawls; that may even make for some nice video clips.
