I'm starting a new video series. This is a really, really, really soft-launch prototype episode, just to get the wheels turning and my writing churning. It's actually a very unplanned episode: my first impressions of the new VR app Blocks by Google, which is free for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
It's a pretty cool tool that allows for very easy manipulation of 3D objects. You can even export them as .obj! In a follow-up, I'll probably open some up in Tilt Brush.
Apologies in advance for the audio quality during the footage, as it was recorded thru the Vive headset. I have a much better setup in the works. But I'd still appreciate any feedback you have! Is this something you'd like to see more of?
