Hello community members, I'd like to share on my most memorable event from 2021 and why it was so for me.
My most memorable event from last year would be when I travelled from my country to Ghana for a short vacation.
Though I had been in Ghana previously, I didn't have enough time and money to visit all the places I ought to visit, but in 2021, I was able to see all the fun places I wanted to be at.
The first place I visited was the Black star Square in Accra.
This is a place of cultural heritage for the Ghanaians. Lots of events are held at this place too.
The next place I visited was the Kwame Nkrumah mausoleum.
Here, I was able to see the burial place of the first president of Ghana and his wife.
I was also opportune to see the car he drove during his time.
On the following day of my vacation, I visited the Legon botanical garden where my fear for heights was crushed after finishing the high rope courses. The bungee jumping was particularly challenging for me but at the end of the day, I overcame.
This event was memorable for me because, not only was it enjoyable, it was also informative, entertaining and eye-opening as I learnt of the culture of the Ghanaians and if I have my way, I'd do more of this. Thanks
