# First Season which lasted two days - Splinter Stats Season 61 Report Card

Hello all,

First, I want to thank @splinterstats and @kiokizz for creating a report that will give a summary of the season stats. My first season only lasted two days because I began playing right at the end of it. @clove71 sent me some DEC (thank you!) to help me get started because she saw I was new in the Discord. My recommendation for anyone starting in Splinterlands would be to join the Discord server, and to spend time reading General. There are times when I will scroll through the chat history, so I can catch up and read all the information that was shared in that channel.

Since this is my first post, I figured it would be interesting to post the progress I make using the SplinterStats report card. It provides me with a simple "Editor" to fill out, which made me feel like I could create a post.

Anyways, my first season was lackluster. However, I was able to pull an Epic card, keep a positive win rate, and profit 107 credits and 117 DEC in Bronze II.

In the next Season, I had some newbie issues that took some learning from my guild, that I recently joined, to prevent DEC wastage. The issue was that I was renting cards for three days at a time. Anyone new out there needs to know that renting should be optimized around ECR (Energy Capture Rate) and Daily Quest rewards. Otherwise, I am looking forward to see how much I have improved in the next Season Report Card.

My first season included some rentals I did not mean to make. However, I did rent from a few Splinters to try to get my feet wet. In the next season, I did make some accidental rentals. Also, I rented for too many days at time. I will be curious to see if I made a profit overall.

In this season, I had minimal airdrop points. For next season, I moved some crypto from CoinBase and bought some DEC, so I could get the airdrops.

Thanks again @splinterstats and @kiokizz. I think that this tool is perfect for someone who is trying to optimize what they are doing in a season. The numbers here will be used as metrics to help me improve my game play. So, I will continue to follow this project! I cannot wait to see what next season will show.
