Despite Early Scare, Super Eagles Dealt With The Squirrel Boys Of Benin
Benin Stephane Sessegnon's goal five minutes into the game created panic for the Super Eagles but they later came from behind to turn things around with a 2-1 victory over Benin.
Victor Osimhen cancelled Stephane Sessegnon's goal in the 45th minute before Samuel Kalu finally pulled the trigger that that gave the Eagles a 2-1 lead the 63rd minute till the final whistle. The Eagles will now proceed to their next game against Lesotho on November 17
Tonight's game against the Squirrel boys of Benin has been heavily criticized due to the game lacking proper television coverage fans outside the stadium and the commentary wasn't professional.
Anyway what matters most is victory for the Eagles and they got it which is the first three point in Group L on the road to the 2021 Nations Cup.
