After retrieving the pump and looting a bandit's gold ring, Enzo and Cesare delivered the machine to Fichera before returning to Don Torrisi's estate. In Chapter Four, a wealthy suitor named Gennaro arrived to court Isabella. I chose a horse, Tesoro, and rode alongside Isabella to escort her toward the coastal temple.
While throwing the dead bandits down the old well, Cesare suddenly stepped in and grabbed Enzo's arm, stopping him mid-toss and leaving Enzo completely confused about what was going on.
Enzo watched in shock as Cesare pulled out his knife and sliced a finger off the corpse. Cesare quickly revealed his true motive. He spotted a shiny gold ring on the bandit's hand and refused to let a good piece of jewelry go to waste inside a dark well, pocketing it for himself.
The scene shifted forward to show Enzo and Cesare steering a heavy wooden wagon carrying the recovered water pump back down the trail, while Luca waited for their arrival alongside old man Fichera at the farm property.
With the stolen machinery finally back in its rightful place, Luca pressed Fichera for their protection payment. When the old farmer grumbled about the cost, Luca reminded him that Don Torrisi's protection and services always come with a price tag attached.
The story transitioned into Chapter Four, titled IL Barone, opening with a slick vintage car speeding along a paved countryside road toward the Don's estate.
Enzo and Cesare were relaxing near the main entrance gates of Don Torrisi's grand manor just as the fast-moving automobile came roaring past the iron gates and pulled into the courtyard.
A wealthy business associate of Don Torrisi stepped out of the vehicle alongside his son, Gennaro, whom the Don was hoping to arrange a marriage with his daughter, Isabella.
Luca informed Enzo and Cesare that young Gennaro wanted to take Isabella to see the ancient ruins of the coastal temple. Luca tasked both men with escort duty, laying out the plan for Isabella to ride her horse while Cesare accompanied Gennaro in his car.
Heading into the estate stables to pick out a mount for the trip, I selected a horse named Tesoro, a calm, loyal, and unshakably steady animal that was completely dependable for a long journey.
Gennaro sped off down the dirt road in his car, leaving Enzo and Isabella to follow behind on horseback. As we rode side-by-side along the coastal trail, the path opened up to showcase breathtaking views of vibrant, sunlit countryside scenery.
