In the 74 battles I played the night before EOS ended, I earned about +50 total rating. Can't wait to have to pay to do that.
Your broken rating/matchmaking system forced me to grind more than usual to make my rentals worth it. I was only trying to gain about 8 spots on a fairly tight leaderboard. Overall, I ended up playing and winning 150 battles in order to gain +99 rating total. That's an average gain of +0.66 rating per battle!
I didn't play a single opponent that was anywhere near my rating all night, even though there were people that would have been competitive to me playing the entire time. And you think that's acceptable?
Implementing this change without fixing the rating or matchmaking system is yet another money grab.
Here's my first 50 battles of the night. Look at all the +0 rating battles.
Here's 44 more battles. Again... look at all the +0 rating battles. This is what you want people to pay for.
Here's 42 more battles. More +0 rating wins all over the place.
I only averaged about 42 battles per day, but my biggest grind was on the last day and that was only because I was having such a hard time earning any rating.
