At the time of publishing this post, 91.76% of all cards on the rental market are Level 1 Regular Foil cards.

That's absolutely insane!

44.5% of all cards on the rental market are Level 1 Regular Foil Rewards cards.

This is exactly why I limit my Modern Common rental listings to max Bronze or better. Unfortunately, most of the max Bronze cards don't rent for much more than the BCX 1's do anymore.

For me, the rental market is (was) a great spot to park extra cards while I accumulate enough to level my main. I feel like I'm constantly taking cards off the market and adding new ones. As a rentee, I'm looking forward to seasonal rentals, but as a renter, this is the main reason why I feel they won't really work for me.

As far as I know, I'll still be able to list cards for daily rentals (2-day min), but the fees are going to kill me on that one. I have around 430 cards total on the rental market and the last I looked, around 350 of them were renting for .9 DEC/day or lower. Such is life.

It'll at least be interesting to see how things shake out.
