its an interesting hypothesis to study - i think id find out what your daughter was going to be wearing, and avoid wearing it. would that change the outcome? i dont know.
when i was young I used to dream about things that, in a symbolic way, came true. i'd see kitchen clocks stopped, relationships ending. later in my life i had panic attacks about my dog dying months before she did, as if at a subconsious level i knew she was sick, even tho she appeared healthy. my father knew the same about his own death, but i didnt listen. i couldnt.
is this the subconsious brain telling us what it already knows? is it our access to collective subconsious knowledge of events, or is it merely our brains projecting fears and likelihoods, different scenarios? I am too much of a skeptic to believe solidly one way or another, yet another part of me doesnt want that pain. The anxiety of knowing and feeling powerless is overwhelming.
