I love taking photos of the sky! The reds,blues and golds mix in such facinating arrangements that I cannot help but try to capture their perfection and grace.
In Colorado, the skies are so expressive and colorful, with the real 50 shades of gray to their name, and a few other colors thrown in. Like a painter's palette, the various hues emphasize each wisp and peak as the clouds shift and contort themselves in a never ending sky show.
Derangedvisions came up with this wonderful theme, "Paint the Sky" for this weeks deranged photography contest. As I am an avid fan of sunsets and clouds, I thought I'd shoot out a post of a few painted skies. Please enjoy these lovely ladies.
