I stumbled across the most awesome bike park today. One that makes me want to dust off my old mountain bike, find a helmet and an air pump, and risk imminent bone breakage trying out all of the specialized terrain. I've been looking for an activity to help me exercise, and this might just be it!
I was really impressed by the extensive amount of trails, jumps, and areas created to build skill level. I even saw one guy with a mountain board he made himself (never heard of mountain boards, but makes sense. yes I know, I'm an old fogey).
There was also something for this old photographer, nature, with lovely scenic features including a couple streams, wildflowers, a pond, and tons of scrub inundated with insects and cool grasses. The view into the western mountains was incredible! The stream was inundated by a plethora of jazzy red seaweed, and all about were gratuitous trees and stone that happily lent my eye pleasure.
Boulder always surprises me with it's care to making the inhabitants happy. I'll be sure to visit this park again, hopefully with bike in tow.
