Hi, my dear friends!
Today, when I was walking in the forest with my dogs, I thought that the color of the winter forest has changed a lot in recent years. The combination of white snow, green spruce needles and brown tree trunks is a thing of the past. Now this range has been added to the dirty-burgundy color of unfalled oak leaves (and this is not an isolated, but a ubiquitous phenomenon in our region) and golden ferns, the ground part of which simply does not have time to die out.
It is safe to say that the winter forest has become completely different. That's if we're only talking about snowy days. But if we talk about the temporary winter in general, the color will be even more diverse.
All the photos you see in this post were taken during the week of January 1 to 7, 2024. It seems that we managed to live in at least three seasons, except for the summer!
The last few photos are a collection of stumps. During the walk, I noticed how diverse they are. Pni is a favorite place for different forest vegetation, so each of them is individual and has its own unique outfit. This idea seemed interesting to me and I started looking for stumps that were particularly colorful. Looking at them, it's hard to believe that these photos were taken just a few days ago!
