Hello everyone my dear friends!
Today I was again in Irpin. Life is slowly returning there. This is a very strange feeling. People sort out the rubble of destroyed buildings, remove broken glass, tighten the empty eye sockets of windows with film or clog them with plywood. But it all happens in a very quiet way.
It seems to me that people move somehow very carefully, as if they are afraid of disturbing the established world. Everything around is so fragile... More recently, bombs and shells were exploding here. Now there is silence here. And people are very afraid to disturb it.
I plan to come here again to take pictures of the city. This is a tough show. Some neighborhoods have been completely destroyed. But I am sure that we will be able to restore the amazing flavor of this small town.
On the way back I bought flowers for my garden. I try to buy things from small businesses so people can feed their families. Now is a very difficult time for all of us, many have lost their jobs.
Nevertheless, people try to create beauty around them. I also try to keep up with this trend. My garden helps me. This year, apple and pear trees are surprisingly abundant. I hope that my poor and rabbits will be provided with delicious fruits for the whole winter. But so far it's just a delightful spectacle of the rebirth of life.
