Hi, my dear friends!
It's amazing how just a couple of kilometers (well, not a couple but 20) can affect nature. My garden seems ready to bloom, but so far only flowers are blooming. My garden trees still keep their flowers in closed buds as if they are afraid of the return of the March cold (which, by the way, has already become traditional).
Today I went to Kyiv to visit my daughter who is in the hospital. Imagine my surprise when I saw that already in Bucha the trees were in full bloom, and the city itself looked like a bride in a magical white dress. But that was not all! Sakuras and magnolias are already blooming in Kyiv! Well, ok, my sakura is still a baby, I planted it only this year, but my magnolia is already quite mature, it is more than five years old, and it is covered with buds and is in no hurry to please me with flowers ...
In general, all this is rather strange, because we are not talking about a distance of 100 km ... It is only 30 km from my house to Kyiv, and the difference in the construction of trees is so significant. Although, on the other hand, this may be due to the fact that in cities it is always somewhat warmer than in rural areas. A large accumulation of cars and people somehow add a couple of degrees to the air temperature, and such sensitive organisms as plants immediately react to this.
I seem to be watching the global warming problem in action... Indeed, when we just see photos of other people on the Internet and we see that, for example, trees are already blooming there, we say: Oh, spring! We do not say how it can be, we are in the same climatic zone and why their trees bloom and mine do not. But when you drive 30 km and see these differences, it really makes you think.
