When our pets get sick, it's probably one of the hardest situations. It already seems to you that the disease has receded, but some symptoms appear again. It's very exhausting.
Problems with the liver and kidneys appeared in Chocolate in November last year and since then we have been continuing treatment. Pills, injections, drips... I diligently followed all the vet's recommendations. The situation is getting better and worse and it already seems to me that the process has become chronic.
Everything is complicated by the fact that Chocolate categorically refuses to eat therapeutic food. She wants to eat only what is not very useful for her. I found myself at a dead end. On the one hand, she needs a diet, but she refuses to eat. On the other hand, I just need to feed her. I can't persuade her to eat diet food, she's just throwing a hunger strike!
You have to choose the least harmful food for her. Yesterday she started having an intestinal disorder again. Maybe it's a reaction to the feed. I bought a special suspension, but if it doesn't help, we'll have to go to the vet clinic again and do tests.
