Like people, dogs have their own social life. Communication with other dogs is an important part of their socialization. The more such communication, the more predictable the dog's reaction to a new situation and other dogs. That's why I'm always happy when other dogs come to visit us.
Of course, this is not just a secular dog visit. This happens when my friends or children want to go somewhere and they need someone to take care of their pets.
So my daughter's dogs Luna and Astro stayed with us for ten days. What I was convinced of once again is that dogs learn from each other very quickly. And the funniest thing is that they usually don't learn what they need. My daughter's dogs returned home with new skills of stealing food from the table, barking for no reason and scratching the door, demanding that they be let in. They didn't acquire any good habits during their visit to us. Oops...😁
