Finally! The trees in my garden are blooming. I already thought that the spring frosts finally destroyed their desire to bear fruit. The first trees were cherries and cherries. Looking out the window in the morning, I saw exactly what you see in the first photo. It's a really beautiful spectacle.
A particularly pleasant surprise was the fact that the young cherry I planted a few years ago (photo below) bloomed. This is a dwarf variety. Lately, I prefer dwarf varieties of fruit trees. The reason is very simple - it is easier for me to take care of small trees, especially when it comes to spraying against pests or pruning. In addition, climate change has created new problems and I started thinking about growing heat-loving species, such as peach and apricot, in a greenhouse or creating special shelters for them, which is easier to do when the tree is small.
My crocuses feel great, which can't be said about my magnolia. It seems that frost and snow have damaged it and I no longer hope that this spring I will wait for flowering.
And here's another pleasant surprise. I planted decorative almonds in the fall. And today I discovered that it is not only perfectly rooted, but it seems ready to bloom! Of course, I'm not completely sure of it, but you'll agree that it looks very similar to this.
I also planted several new varieties of strawberries in pots. I have already said many times that I have a difficult relationship with this berry, which categorically refuses to grow in my garden. This container cultivation is my last attempt.
