A few days ago I wrote about what seems to be a problem. I recently discovered strange formations on the side of the Mouse and on the stomach of Happiness. That's the only one that was missing! If dogs are sick, it's always a terrible problem. I'm desperate that I can't help them! But you can't hide from the problem. And today we visited a vet.
The vet examined both of my dog girls and issued a verdict: surgery is needed. Unfortunately, I made a mistake and didn't make sure that Mouse and Happiness were hungry, so we couldn't take a blood test. But we still have enough time to do this, because the operation will be scheduled after February 12.
Fortunately, it will be a planned operation, not an ambulance one, so we will have enough time to prepare.
Mouse and Happiness behaved very well at the vet. I thought they definitely deserved a bonus! Therefore, on the way home, we stopped near the lake so that they could go for a walk and forget about their experiences related to visiting the vet clinic. I must say that my dogs just hate to visit it!
The weather is a little cloudy today, but it's still warm enough, so we had a great walk. Of course, this whole situation is not too pleasant, but at least we have a plan on how to proceed. Pets and people sometimes get sick, it's impossible to avoid. But when we're done with it, I'll be sure of the health of my pups.
