Hi my dear friends!
Despite the very bad news of last night, our life goes on as usual. Animals and birds keep getting into trouble whether we expect war or not.
So, what do we have... A frightened but terribly swearing long-eared owl. My company annoys her. I'd love to get me out of her way, but I can't.
This lady was malnourished, has a whole bunch of protozoa and needs treatment, because without it, even in good weather, she will not live long.
Long-eared owls are generally not very good company. There may be rare exceptions if the bird has grown up next to a human or... or if the bird itself is smart enough to know that I don't eat owls and just want to help.
But in most cases, mutual understanding cannot be reached, and while I think how to shove a pill into it, it thinks how to bite my finger.
As for the events of last night... This morning my son-in-law asked me what I was going to do. I have nothing to do... even if hypothetically imagine that I can put all the animals and birds in my bus, where will I go?
So I did what was most rational - I ordered more food. If a mess starts, this will allow us to hold out for some time, if not, they will eat everything anyway.
Luckily my daughter and my son-in-law will be able to leave. This simplifies a lot. This way I can focus on my animals and not go crazy worrying about them.
What surprises me the most is that my Russian relatives never even called me. Perhaps they are sure that we are to blame for what is happening ... Or maybe they are just ashamed ... Fortunately, I have friends and we support each other.
