Nature definitely has a sense of humor. Having pampered us a little with white snow under our feet, it decided that this was quite enough to make us remember the winter of our childhood. Do you remember? Well, that's enough, some good stuff! And the roofs of the houses sparkled merrily, icicles signaling the approach of warming.
This would certainly be fun if it weren't so bad. The approach of slush is depressing. What if it's frosty? the roads will turn into solid ice and I will again not be able to leave the house. My car was covered in ice today. It looks very interesting, but I’m ready to call picking off this crust not very fun entertainment.
My garden is trying to hold its winter defenses, desperately trying to keep the snow. This worries me too, because snow protects overwintering plants. If the snow melts and frost hits, I will say goodbye forever to some delicate flowers and ornamental grasses. Let's hope the snow cover holds up.
But my cats appreciated the warming and the appearance of a modest winter sun. They do not miss the opportunity to catch at least a couple of its rays. Well, if it doesn’t work out with the plants, I’ll remember and think that at least the cats had fun.
At the same time, the dog is not in a good mood, wash his paws in cold water and sleep at home.
