I don't like Mondays. No, it's probably not quite accurate. I have a complicated relationship with them. On the one hand, it would be logical to assume that after the weekend I will be rested and full of energy. But reality is infinitely far from this picture. My Mondays are always a failure. I can't pull myself together, I can't concentrate, I can't start working. This is not an emotional statement, it's many years of experience.
At first, I tried to fight it. I wrote plans, I honestly sat down to work from the very morning. And nothing!
I finally gave up - Mondays won. Fortunately, my work is not too tied to office hours. I made Saturday a working day, when I work until about lunch (I write,: read, edit). Sunday is my day off. Monday - as it turns out. If a muse suddenly visits me, then I work, if not, then no. But at least I stopped reproaching myself for being unproductive. Monday is now the day of "as it turns out". And you know, it works.
