Hi, my dear friends and Happy Valentine’s Day!
This holiday is rather popular around the world because on Valentine's Day, we celebrate the joyous and powerful emotion of love. It has the potential to lift us up and bring us to a higher level of life. I remember one time when my daughter was crying because of difficulties in her relationship, I said to her: “Take a moment to appreciate that many people go through life without ever experiencing true love. You are fortunate that you know what it feels like to love.”
Love comes in many forms, such as the love of a mother for her children, the love of children for their mother, the love of animals, the love of one's favorite hobby, and the love of our planet. It is a complex emotion, and one which can sometimes cause a great deal of suffering. But closing ourselves off to love, while it may spare our nerves, will not make our lives more fulfilling.
May this day be for each of us the beginning of something new, beautiful and full of love and kindness. If someone has not yet met their love, let him or her meet it. To all those who have already met their soul mate or show love in any other form, such as love for children, parents, etc., may this feeling never fade. We are all very different, but each of us has a treasure of good and bright qualities. Sometimes we do not reveal them, but let love help us in this.
