Hi my dear friends! Today I want to talk about photography. More precisely, I want to talk about the action that is being held by the Kyiv Photo School, where I studied and whose wonderful teachers-talented photographers, are doing their best today to show the world what is happening in our country. You can look at these photos. And you will see that everything Russia says is a lie. There is no military operation (Although what kind of "military operation" in another independent country can we even talk about? What a delusion of a sick fantasy!). There is a real war that Russia is waging against Ukraine. Thousands of civilians suffer in this war. Russian killer orcs are characterized by inhuman cruelty.

These are photos from Borodyanka, Bucha, Irpin - a small town not far from my house. Only fifteen to thirty minutes by car to each of them. They are almost completely destroyed. For a whole month we fell asleep and woke up to the sound of explosions. We heard how they were killed but could not do anything. It was scary. By the direction of the explosions, we understood which city was being bombed. When we first arrived in Irpin after the occupation, we cried. Even in my worst nightmare, I could not imagine how the people who were there felt.

I still can't take my camera and go shoot. I feel physical pain. My wonderful photography teachers turned out to be stronger. The photos you see in this post were taken by them. I also give below the text that is on the website of our photography school, and a link to more photos.

Borodyanka.

To get there, I only had to turn left when leaving my village. Ten or fifteen minutes and we are there. How often did I make this journey, because there was a veterinary clinic where I treated my animals and birds. Now there are ruins...

Bucha.

If I turned right, I got into Bucha. Fifteen minutes and I'm here.

A small and very European city on the Warsaw highway. It was always clean and comfortable here. I once dreamed of living here. I persuaded my daughter and son-in-law to buy a house here.

This small town became the first witness of the bestial hatred of the Russian army towards my people. Erase the spread civilians in mass graves. They were found with traces of a shot in the back of the head and their hands tied behind. Raped women and children. What happened here is beyond the comprehension of the normal human mind.

Irpin.

Irpin. My biggest fear. When I heard explosions from Irpin, my heart stopped. All this time my friends were there. On the first day of the war, they tried to get to me but could not. And then Hell came. At first, we could still contact them to find out that they were alive. Then there was no connection. Irpin was destroyed by more than 78% ... It was also an amazingly beautiful small town, with neat courtyards, flowers and a cozy life. Why do we call Russians orcs? Because, judging by their behavior, they hate any manifestations of civilization. They hate beauty and order. They do not understand how a provincial town can be clean and beautiful. They brought down on Irpin all their hatred for the civilized world.

So, back to the web page of the Kyiv Photo School. Here you can see such an announcement of the founder of the school.

Ukraine is in danger, it defends the democratic values of the world from the Β«russian worldΒ». Ukraine needs help. True information is very important and is a basis for human activity. After all, a person begins to act only when he receives enough of qualitative information. That is why we ask everyone, who shares our values, to show these photos in various countries, to various people.

We are ready to provide files ready for printing to anyone, who can and wants to organize anti-war exhibitions outside of Ukraine. Together we will win!

What the world stands on? (by Архімандрит Π‘Π΅Ρ€Π°Ρ„Ρ–ΠΌ ΠŸΠ°Π½ΠΊΡ€Π°Ρ‚ΠΎΠ²)

When everything collapsed with the beginning of the war, it turned out that everything rests on sacrificial people. The country and the nation are preserved by those, who risk their lives to protect the others, who risk themselves to maintain the life.

Police officers, rescuers – these professions always have been associated with risk. But even completely non-heroic and even Β«vernacularΒ» professions suddenly began to bear the stamp of courage and sacrifice. Utilities managers, electricians, drivers, shop assistants... Yes, even shop assistants. When Akhtyrka was still under daily shelling, I told the cashier at ATB (a net of popular shops): Β«Who would have thought that cashiers are a heroic profession?Β»

Volunteers have become the circulatory system of ourcountry. The country is sustained by many people who without any doubts are ready to share, to take from oneself and give to one's neighbor, to shelter, to risk oneself, to give one's life.

And perhaps it is precisely what we are experiencing now that brings us closer than ever to the understanding that the well-being of the whole world rests on sacrifice and sacrificial people. And without them and without sacrifice, the world would become terrible and unbearable. Can you imagine a world in which everybody has selfish idea a kind of β€œmy hut on the edge, I don`t care”? A world where everyone lives only in their own interests and is ready to share something only when it is beneficial for them? Would we like to live in such a world? Who would be happy in it?

The world must know the truth. The world must understand that all the talk about the possibility of a third Minsk agreement is a road to nowhere. Russia violates all agreements. This is a predatory country that will never stop and whose appetites will grow as the rest of the world compromises. Look at these photos. Follow the link and see more. Do you want your world to look like this?
