Hi, my dear Hive Gardners!
Here are the irises in bloom. So far only large-flowered, those dwarf irises that I spawned last year are in no hurry. But they will also bloom, you have to wait a bit.
Those irises that you see in these photos are my first collection. They are over five years old. And here I made two gardening mistakes at once. Firstly, I did not divide the bush ... Now it turns out that there are a lot of flowers in a limited space .... The second mistake is that I did not deepen the plants. The fact is that over the years the land in the flowerbed has sagged significantly. It was necessary to dig up all the plants and deepen them. Notya did not do this, first deciding to wait until spring, and in spring - until autumn ... As a result, many flowers simply fall. This fall I will definitely fix it.
Many flowers are still in bud. But I can already see that I miss the yellow irises! Definitely need yellow, otherwise the picture is too monotonous.
In general, speaking of irises, I confidently recommend them to those who want to have a flower bed that lives an independent life. Just like daylilies, irises are very easy to care for. It is enough to root their stobs once, then from year to year they delighted you with beautiful flowering.
